PACHYSANDRA
Green Sheen Zones: 4-9
Shade
Evergreen, veined 1 1/2" - 4" oval leaves, lightly toothed at
ends. Small white flowers in spring and early summer. Spreads by
underground rhizomes. Mature height 8" - 10 ". Prefers well drained,
organically rich, loam and shade. An incredible plant its
leaves always seem to have been just polished. Early spring growth lacks the sheen but as the season progress the sheen
appears and remains. Sometimes as this wonderful plant spreads, about 1 per 1000, a dull
green emerges from the base, remove these at once.
