A great groundcover, tough and durable. Temps. from the 30º
's to 90º 's are fine for shipping. Popular as a
border plant, as well as a turf & mulch alternative. We've been told our mondo
is better quality and less expensive than national stores. Bea of
Savannah, GA, replaced her
costly lawn in shade with dwarf mondo. A gentleman in NC reorder weekly,
creating a "stream" winding thru a Japanese Garden. Dwarf mondo grass
evergreen in warmer zones, in cooler zones, once a year, it should be cut back after it browns
up before new growth commences , cut foliage ½ inch above the base of the
plant. Dwarf mondo grass
won’t tolerate full
sun in warmer zones.
